STORE FAQs
Do you do walk-ins?
Yes! Our walk-in hours are Tuesday - Friday, 9-3 pm. You can stop by during those hours.
Can we hang out at the studio or is it by reservation only?
Please come hang out! It’s a space/living room created for you to stop by, have lunch meetings, grab a coffee, read a book, or do school work. We’d love to host you!
Do you sell gifts, do you have greeting cards?
Yes! We sell hair accessories, greeting cards, coffee beans and tote bags. Seasonally we also have candles. Perfect way to compliment a floral bouquet.
Do you actually have coffee, is this a coffee shop?
This is not considered a “coffee shop” but we do have a coffee cart parked at our studio and it is the same hours as our public hours. You’re welcome to stop by, grab a coffee, hang-out/study. It is basically a floral coffee shop.
FLOWER FAQs
Do you specialize in wedding/event florals/decor?
Yes! We do bridal & bridesmaid bouquets only, no large-scale weddings.
What if I want to place an order but I want to see what the bouquet will look like, do you have a gallery?
Fleur Studio strives to create unique bouquets/arrangements for each customer. We have never replicated the same look in any of our work which is why we do not provide a full gallery at check-out. We do have a floral gallery HERE so you can get a sense of our style, but we are a “designers choice” or “clients choice” style of flower studio. If you wanted to have a specific look, color, or flower in your arrangement, we do provide a form at check-out that asks those questions and has an area for extra notes. You’re welcome to be as descriptive as you want AND you can email us photos of something you like (which is what a lot of our customers do). We can create something very similar to any Pinterest/Instgram/Google found photo (depending on supply & flower availability).
Do you do floral workshops? Can I do private workshop with you or host one with just my friends?
Yes! For now we are doing seasonal workshops.
We are able to host private workshops as an option -We can do a one-on-one workshop or a currated workshops for a bachelorette, birthday or girls night. You can email us a request for that.
Do you do business installations or drop off monthly flowers for business’?
Yes, we do! We have experience with spas, coffee shops, bakeries, and corporate space. A few options for this, so it depends on your vision. Feel free to email us a request!
How do the flowers work, do we have to place an order before visiting?
There are MANY ways, here are some of them;
You can place an order online and pick-up (this is best for specific orders or if you want specific colors and flowers).
You can bring in a vase or bucket (during our public hours) and purchase flowers from the floor, price per stem.
You can walk in any time during our public hours and purchase a bouquet/vase arrangement OR shop our DIY bar by the stem. Both are options.
Disclaimer: We get fresh flowers every Monday and sell out by Friday each week. If you are looking for something specific, we would recommend reaching out online or calling the store.
When do you get the flowers, are they fresh?
We get floral deliveries every Monday & Thursday mornings. We prep the flowers, clean them up and place them on the floor. They are 100% fresh and last up to 2 weeks if you follow our flower care instructions. We would recommend coming on Tuesday during our open hours to get the first pick on the delivery, we usually sell out of the more rare flowers by Thursday.
Can I request specific types of flowers like peonies or more unique flowers like bird-of-paradise or pampas or LARGE palms?
Yes! We offer bucket pick-ups and delivery. If you’re hosting a party at home or making your own arrangement at home, you can email us an inspo photo and we can assemble a bucket with the flowers in the photo (if they are available/in season).
Are you able to provide buckets of flowers for photoshoots or product shoots that are NOT hosted at your studio?
Yes! We can discuss your vision for the shoot and we can create an invoice with those florals for you. We also offer delivery/drop-off at the photoshoot location.
Can you come set up a flower bar at a bridal shower/baby shower (or any event), if so, how much is that?
Yes, we do! This is one of our favorites. There are two options; 1- being that we just come and set up and you pay for just the flowers & set-up fee, 2 - if you want a specialist to be there to assemble the flowers, that’s also an option. These type of setups range between $400-1k, depending on the option you choose & flowers of your choosing.
RENTAL FAQs
What is the difference between “studio” and “event” rental?
Studio rentals are created for photographers/artists to use the space for photo/video production purposes. No more than 5 people are allowed and food/drink is not allowed whereas an event rental allows food/beverage and other supplies such as tables, chairs, linen, etc.
Does the reservation include clean up/tear down?
No, you would have to reserve the time needed for clean-up and tear-down.
Can we bring our own decor and hang stuff up?
Yes, you can decorate the space as you wish.
How much parking is available?
There are about 10+ spots in the plaza and then we send a few other off-site parking options available once you book. We do encourage you to check the hours of the businesses in the plaza to see what times they are open to choose a good time for your party if you’re having more than 30 people. We also encourage you to first park off-site and have an overflow park in the lot as there are other businesses open.
Can we bring in food & drinks?
Yes, but you would need a WA banquet permit for alcohol.
Can we get rid of the furniture?
No, but you can move it around as long as it is moved back to its original place.
What stays during the rental event?
All furniture and plants stay, plus grey pedestals and 2 iron rolling tables. What you see in the walkthrough video and photos, is what the space is like when you arrive for your check-in.
What kind of workshops can I host?
Any! Yoga, coffee, painting, floral, photography, dance, music, anything you can set your mind to! Make sure to reserve it as a “workshop” not “an event” on our RESERVE page.
Do you have tables & chairs available for rent? Linen?
We do not offer tables/chairs/linen, but here are a few add-ons here that we do offer.
If you wanted additional tables, chairs, linen, etc, you would need to rent them from an outside company or bring your own. Here is a list of some preferred vendors
If we wanted to have you do flowers/photobooth at our event, how does that work?
All of those items are priced differently but are available. Fleur can do centerpieces for your event, set up a floral backdrop, set up a DIY flower bar for your guests, and provide a barista and photo booth supplies. Florals are priced per flower + service, and the photo booth set up varies based on your desired look. You can reach out to us at info@fleurstudio.co for an estimated quote.
Can we use our own rentals and florist?
Yes, you can do that.
Do we need any permits for hosting an event at the studio?
No permits are required unless you’re serving/selling alcohol or food. A food permit/alcohol permit is required for those. You can find that HERE
